We are still here!

Sorry for the blog silence of late.

Life has been busy with work and family.

Looks like I am off to Washington DC end of next month with work, and we have a conference in Queenstown in August too, so that should be good.

I'm sorry for the lack of photo's of Grace, and promise I will put some more up soon. She is smiling and "talking" a lot now, which is fun. Smiles from babies are always cute!

I've been playing with "geek" stuff, and I made this:

One healthy Baby!

We had the scan today, and we have a healthy baby! (yes, only one...no doubles!)

As the the question: "Is it a girl or a boy?" the answer is "yes"

We couldn't tell from the scan which one it was though, so we'll either find out later, maybe even on the day!

We got a video of the scan and some pictures.

I will put a picture here tonight, and find a way to get the video on to the computer!

The Great kicking baby!

Last night when we went to bed, Sara said,"Put your hand here", so I did, and I FELT THE BABY KICK!

@ 17 weeks this is quite early to be feeling this, but feel it I did!

Baby kicked me a few time too. Hope I'm not in trouble with baby! :-P

The lawn is bigger! (and so is the pile of dirt!)

Well, after another few more hours playing with my new birthday toy (the wheelbarrow) I have finished moving dirt!

The pile in the corner of the property has gotten quite big, and we are planning to use it in the raised vege gardens we are going to make (one day, honest!)

I put some grass seed on the reclaim lawn, so hopefully that will get to grow a bit before the birds eat it!

Also today I have been working on adding "youtube" to this blog.

YouTube is a place on the internet you can store videos for free, and add them to your web site. I'll be able to use this to bring you the footage of the baby scan when we get have the scan!

I heard the heart beat!

Today Sara have a Midwife appointment, so I went along.

Sara's blood preasure has been a bit low, but it was fine today.

Joshua was a good boy during the appointment, but the highlight was hearing the heart beat of the baby!

Hearing that makes it seem that little bit more *real*, if you know what I mean.

We have the first ultasound scan in the next few weeks, so will hopefully be able to get that recorded, and if I can, I'll put it on the Blog for people to see!
